What is GriefShare?

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

  • How do I know if GriefShare is for me?

Grief is a difficult journey from which we never recover, but we learn that we can walk through our grief and the process to find healing. Each week, the best way to see whether you’re a fit for GriefShare is to just visit us at our first session. We will start with a short video presentation, followed by a helpful conversation about things we are learning through our shared grief. We hope to be a safe place to learn that grief is something we share and journey with together. We'll host this session on September 9th @ 6:30 pm.

  • When does GriefShare meet?

This GriefShare session begins on September 9th and will meet Wednesday Nights at 6:30 PM in room 304.
