Teen Camp Travel Plan
We’re so excited that you’re joining Mustang Naz Students for Youth Camp! Whether it’s your first time or you’re a seasoned senior, we’re excited to see how God will use this time to grow us more like Him! Please make sure that your parents/guardians have signed our activity waiver.Sign The Waiver Here Travel Schedule Vehicles load at Mustang Naz Saturday 7/18 at 11:45 AM. We will leave at 12:00 PM and check in at Salyer Lake at 1:00 PM. Eat lunch BEFORE you come Saturday! We return to Mustang Naz around 1:00 PM on Wednesday 7/22. Please text NAZSTUDENTS to 405-777-4776 to opt in for communication updates! All updates will be sent through our Group Text system. Things To Look Forward To Camp adventures Saturday - Wednesday SNU’s Remedy & SNU Crew will be leading worship, playing games, and spending time with us. Pastor Travis Lee is the speaker Activities & Free Time Theme Nights One of our camp traditions is to participate in optional dress up nights for extra fun. Saturday - Neon Colors Sunday - Sports Jerseys Monday - Camo Day Wednesday - Western Wear Meals Salyer Lake Camp is providing all meals for campers. Our first meal with them will be dinner on Saturday and their final meal service will be lunch on Wednesday. (Meals will contain some dairy and gluten items/ingredients, feel free to send/bring snacks as preferred) Medication Policy All medications need to be transported in original containers, placed into a ziploc bag, be clearly marked with the student’s name, and have proper instructions included. All medication will be held by designated youth sponsors for safekeeping. Packing List Essentials Deodorant Bible Water bottle (Stay Hydrated!) Toothpaste/brush, BodyWash, Shampoo, Hair Products, Personal Hygiene, Deodorant, etc. Bedding (Sleeping bag/Sheets/Blanket) Pillow Towels/Washcloths (extra towel if you swim) Active wear (t-shirts, shorts, etc.), socks, and underwear for 5 days + extra? It’s hot! One outfit that you don’t mind getting dirty Pajamas Athletic shoes (Shoes that can get dirty!) Sunscreen/Insect repellent Jacket or Hoodie if you get chilled in AC Modest Swimsuit if you plan to swim/boat in lake (life jackets available at lake) Good Ideas Cheap Sunglasses Flashlight Journal and Pen Hat Sandals or Slides for dorms/water activities Small backpack A modest amount of Snack Shack money. (Most things are $1-2 each) Snacks Card Games Don’t Bring! Anything illegal or Tobacco, Vapes, Alcohol, etc. Fireworks, Guns, Knives, anything that can be reasonably mistaken for a weapon, etc. Anything expensive, large sums of cash, electronics, rare antiques, wild animals, family heirlooms, etc! It’s an explosively good time! The stands will be open for sales from June 27th to July 3rd from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM On July 4th the stand will be open for sales from 9:00 AM to 11:59 PM July 5th is clean up day at Wild Horse Park beginning at 8:00 AM 📅Sales Begin June 27th @ 4:00 PM

Summer Is Here! July 18-22 we’re headed back to Salyer Lake Camp for another week of fun during Southwest Oklahoma Nazarene Youth Camp! August NazKids Updates
Get in the game with NazKids ⚾ We had an amazing Promotion Sunday yesterday and we’re gearing up for another school year of building friendships, learning about Jesus, and learning to take His Good News into the world! I can’t wait to spend the semester spending time with everyone and watching how God will show up in each of our lives! Our NazKids ministry is built on the verse Luke 2:52 which says: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” Let’s commit to praying this verse over our kids this year! See you soon! -Pastor Kym NazKids Sunday Schedule Sunday School @ 9:30 AM Kids’ Worship @ 10:30 AM August 30th we’ll have a special worship service called Worship & Waffles for Pre-K - 6th Graders.Got Allergies? Let us know! Join us for our Wednesday Night Kickoff! This week at 6:30 we’ll be hosting a night at the splash pad for grades K-6. Be sure to dress for water activities! Nursery aged kids (6 weeks - 4 years) will have indoor activities with nursery staff, but parents are also able to supervise their younger kids in the splash pad as well. Parents Night Out! On June 24th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM, we’d like to invite families to drop off their kids for a night of games, activities, snacks, and more! VBS has TWO MORE Weeks! 🦜 We’ve been spending Sunday Mornings at Rainforest Falls learning about the Nature of God. This week is our NazKids VBS Finale. We’ll still check in at 9:30 AM for our final VBS activities before our celebration service in the sanctuary at 10:30 AM. We’ll sing VBS songs and our NazKids Pastoral team will lead our message that morning. This week’s big idea is that God is Forever! Kids Camp is next Monday! Every year this is one of my favorite times to watch our kids (and camp counselors!) have fun and grow closer to Jesus together.
This year’s theme will encourage us to “Commit” ourselves to Jesus. Please join us in prayer that God will speak to us next week and that lives will be changed forever! Travel Times We will depart Mustang Naz at 1:00 PM on Monday June 15th. Check in and loading will begin at 12:45. (Be sure to eat lunch before you arrive.) Return to Mustang Naz is scheduled for Thursday June 18th at 12:30 PM Things You Will Need…
As we prepare to go to Salyer Lake Camp together, here are all of the things you will need to fully participate in the camp.Packing List Items Not To Bring Money, phones, electronics, toys, dangerous items, weapons (including pocket knives), non prescription medications, drugs/alcohol, animals, or bad attitudes.Medication Form Please fill out the attached form and turned into camp staff before loading the bus.
ALL MEDICATION NEEDS TO BE PLACED IN A GALLON SIZE ZIPLOC WITH INSTRUCTIONS & THE CAMPERS NAME WRITTEN ON IT AND TURNED IN UPON ARRIVAL TO THE CHURCH! We’re going to have an amazing time and are grateful for everyone who will be joining us!

VBS Is Here!
Welcome to Rainforest Falls! 🦜🌴 Tonight is out VBS 2026 Kickoff and we couldn’t be more excited to learn about the Nature of God with everyone this year!Sign Up Here On Sunday Mornings from May 31st to June 28th we’re hosting VBS @ Mustang Naz. Each session will begin at 9:30 AM (check in begins at 9:20) and our NazKids will go through different stations of Bible lessons, games, crafts, snacks, music, and more! Parents, if you want to pregame the messages during family devotional time, our first week’s lesson highlights how God Created everything. Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Our prayer is that our kids will learn that God is very powerful and that they are loved by Him very much! We have an incredible crew of volunteers helping us facilitate VBS and are thankful for each and every one of them! Be sure to thank them when you see them! Don’t Forget! The Rainforest is unpredictable and we will want to have everyone prepared for whatever might happen! Dress in your finest rainforest gear instead of your “Sunday best” because we will have games that might involve water adventures!

On Mission Updates
Here's how Mustang Naz is On Mission This Month Here’s the central hub of how you can get connected with mission projects with our church! A Place For All A Place For All hosts a booth at the Newcastle farmers' market where they hand out Bibles, pocket-sized New Testaments with Proverbs and Psalms, Christian Living books, and small items for kids (rubber ducks, “baby” Jesus, notebooks, etc). All of these items are acquired through donations. Not a weekend goes by that someone doesn’t come up to our booth and find the exact Bible or book that they are looking for or need for something going on in their lives. It’s amazing to see God working so powerfully through our little booth! Food Pantry Join us on June 6th for our First Saturday Pantry lunch! We’ll be serving pulled pork sandwiches and all the fixins, and we’d love for you to come enjoy a meal, connect with others, and spend time with our visitors. Join us for this opportunity to share community, kindness, and good conversation. Bring a friend and come hang out—we’d love to see you there. Fostering Our Village Our mission is to empower and support foster, adoptive and displaced families in our community. We are dedicated to making a positive impact by providing cost-free clothing, toys, and other essential items to those in need. Our commitment is to bridge the gap between resources and families, ensuring that they have the tools and support necessary to thrive. The Shop will be open Wednesday Nights from 5:30 - 7:30 PM starting June 3rd. Friends Of Western Heights We will be collecting donations to help provide backpacks for students at Greenvale Elementary. School supplies go on sale early in the summer—especially during June and July—so we invite you to give now to help us prepare. Thank you for supporting these children and helping them start the school year equipped and encouraged. Jubilee Partners Jubilee Partners is hosting a Back To School Literacy Camp. Dates are July 27th - August 6th. Sessions will meet Monday - Thursday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Ideally, volunteers can commit to at least one of the two weeks, though we’re also happy to welcome anyone who is only available for one or two afternoons.
